रोशनी (Light)

 अंधेरा छटेगा जब सूरज की रोशनी से तो दुनिया की हर सिमत होगी उजागर। कोई शय न छुप सकेगी और कोई बशर न रह सकेगा अपने आप को छुपाकर।

 When the darkness vanishes before the light of the sun, every direction of the world will be illuminated. No object will remain hidden, and no human will be able to keep themselves concealed.

 उम्मीद की किरण जागेगी हर आसमान और ज़मीन के अंदर। हर गोशा-ए-गुलज़ार में, हर चमन और गुलशन के अंदर।

A ray of hope will awaken within every sky and earth, In every corner of the flower garden, within every meadow and orchard.

कोई परवाना जल सकेगा न फिर शमा की तेज़ लौ से इस कदर। और कोई जुगनू दिख सकेगा न उड़ते हुए आसमान में इधर-उधर।

 No moth will burn like that in the fierce flame of the candle anymore, And no firefly will be visible flying here and there in the night sky.

 थोड़ी सी रोशनी भी बहुत सारा अंधेरा मिटाती है। और रोशनी हमेशा अंधेरे के बीच में ठहरती है।

Even a little light dispels a vast amount of darkness, And light always finds its place right in the midst of darkness.

 जो तुमको दूसरों को रोशनी देनी होगी, तो तुम्हें पहले खुद चमकना होगा। तुम्हारे अंदर जो रोशनी है वह, बढ़ाकर तुम्हें और दमकना होगा।

If you wish to give light to others, You must first shine yourself. The light that resides within you, You must amplify it and glow even brighter.

आदमी की यही ख्वाहिश होती है अंधेरा छोड़के रोशनी की तरफ जाए। अंधेरा होने की वजह से ही ख्याल आता है कि रोशनी को कैसे पाए।

 It is a human's deepest desire to leave the darkness behind and move toward the light. It is the very presence of darkness that sparks the thought of how to attain light.

हर माँ-बाप यह दुआ देता है अपने बच्चे को कि उसका मुस्तक़बिल रोशन रहे। कुदरत उसे नवाज़े अदब और रोशन-ख्याली से और वह रोशनी फैलाता रहे।

 Every parent prays for their child that their future remains bright. May Nature bless them with good manners and enlightened thinking, and may they continue to spread light.
