दौलत और अमीरी (Daulat aur Amiri)

फ़र्क़ होता है बहुत दौलत में और अमीरी में, ख़ुश रहता है बशर सुकून से फ़क़ीरी में।

English: There is a vast difference between wealth and true richness, A human finds serene happiness even in simple contentment (fakiri).

मिलती है हमें दौलत सारी, ज़मीनों की वजह से, मेहनत करता है कोई अपने ख़ून-पसीने से। और मिलती है किसी को दौलत जद्दी-विरासत से, इंसान ज़मीन से लेता बहुत, वापस कुछ नहीं देता है, पेड़ और जानवर ज़मीन को लौटाते हैं भरपूरी में।

English: We gain all our riches from the earth's bounty, Some toil hard with their sweat and blood. Others inherit fortune through ancestral lineage. Humans take immensely from the earth, giving nothing back, While trees and animals restore nature in full abundance.

जो कम दौलत में गुज़ारा करे, लालच न करे, वो अमीर होता है, जिसके पास दौलत बहुत, पर पाने की हवस हो, वो ग़रीब होता है। इख़्तिलाफ़ रहता है यक़ीनन लालच और सबूरी में।

English: One who lives on little without greed is the truly rich one, While one with endless wealth who craves for more remains poor. There lies an undeniable conflict between greed and patience (saboori).

फ़र्क़ होता है बहुत दौलत में और अमीरी में...

अमीरी या ग़रीबी में दौलत का बहुत कम असर होता है, जिसके पास खाने-पहनाने के अलावा छत भी सर पर होता है, वो मेरी नज़र में दुनिया में बहुत अमीर होता है। इतनी दौलत जमा करना किसलिए फिर ज़रूरी है?

English: Wealth plays a very minor role in being rich or poor, Whoever has food, clothes, and a shelter over their head, Is, in my view, immensely wealthy in this world. Why then is it necessary to hoard so much wealth?

इंसान की अमीरी का पता जायदाद से नहीं, किरदार से लगता है, कोई गुर्बत में भी औरों की मदद करने में यक़ीन रखता है, और कोई अमीर होने के बावजूद किसी की मदद नहीं करता है। कोई जीता है इस दुनिया में सुकून से, और कोई जीता है मजबूरी में।

English: A person's true wealth is judged by character, not by property, Some believe in helping others even through their poverty, While others, despite being rich, offer no helping hand. Some live peacefully in this world, while others live bound by compulsion.

फ़र्क़ होता है बहुत दौलत में और अमीरी में...

ज़्यादा दौलत होने में ही खोने का डर सताता रहता है, जिसके पास उतना ही है जितना दरकार है, वो सुकून से जीता है। कोई ख़ुशहाली में जीता है, तो कोई बदहाली में मरता है, साथ चलते हैं इंसान के नेक आमाल, यहीं रह जाती दौलत सारी है।

English: Having excessive wealth brings the constant fear of losing it, But he who has just as much as needed lives in peace. Some live in prosperity, while others suffer in plight, Yet only good deeds accompany a human—all wealth remains left behind.
