राज़-ए-सनातन

जिंदगी रहती है कहाँ, तौफ़ीक़ और तौसीह के वसायिल हों जहाँ। और मौत रहती है वहाँ सिकुड़ने और सिमटने के मसायिल हों जहाँ।

Where does life truly exist? Where the means of divine grace and expanse are found. And death resides where problems of shrinking and confinement abound.

हम तो वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम के नारे में यक़ीन रखते हैं। यह दुनिया के ख़लक़ एक ही अयाल हैं इस बात का दम भरते हैं।

We believe in the slogan of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family). We hold fast to the conviction that all the creatures of this world belong to a single family.

हम अपनी ही बहबूदी को तरजीह देने को अज़ीयत समझते हैं। दूसरों के लिए सोचने को ही तो हम इबादत और अक़ीदत कहते हैं।

We consider prioritizing only our own welfare to be a form of self-torment. Caring for others is what we call true worship and devotion.

हमें गलतफ़हमी है कि हम सब से अलग हैं इस दुनिया में। यह सोचकर हम अपनी दुनियावी पहचान से अलग होते हैं।

 We harbor a misconception that we are separate from everyone else in this world. By thinking this way, we detach ourselves from our true worldly identity.

और भूल जाते हैं कि एक आफ़ाक़ी क़ुव्वत हमें आपस में मिलाती है। कायनात का हर जिस्म और हर रूह हमें यकजेहती का अहसास दिलाती है।

 And we forget that a cosmic power unites us together. Every body and every soul in the universe makes us feel this oneness.

इसलिए हम किसी और से नफ़रत कैसे कर सकते हैं। जितनी मोहब्बत अपनों से है उतनी ही मोहब्बत ग़ैर से भी करते हैं।

How then could we ever hate anyone else? We love strangers just as deeply as we love our own.

हमें अपनी सोच, रुतबे या जिस्म से अपनी पहचान हटानी है। और उस लाफ़ानी और वसीह शय से अपनी पहचान बनानी है।

We must separate our identity from our thoughts, status, or physical body, And define our true self through that immortal, infinite Reality.

हम अपने ही हाथों से रेशम के कीड़े की तरह एक जाल बुनते हैं। और अपने ही आमाल की वजह से ही उसी जाल में फँसते 

Like a silkworm, we weave a web with our own hands, And get trapped inside that very net because of our own actions.

ख़ुदग़र्ज़ी से नहीं बल्कि बेलौस किरदार से जिंदगी में चैन आता है। सारी नफ़रत मिट जाती है और कितना क़रार और सुकून आ जाता है।

 Peace in life comes not from selfishness, but from a selfless character. All hatred melts away, bringing immense calmness and comfort.

जिस्म फ़ानी है और यह रूह लाफ़ानी है कहता है सनातन। और उस वसीह नूर का जलवा ही रहता है समाया कण-कण।

Sanatan teaches that the body is mortal and the soul is immortal, And the divine light of that infinite radiance resides in every single particle.

हमारी क़दीमी विरासत का फ़लसफ़ा है यह सनातन। जिसके आग़ोश में वेद और उपनिषदों का हुआ है मंथन।

Sanatan is the core philosophy of our ancient heritage, In whose embrace the deep churnings of the Vedas and Upanishads took place.

हर नई सोच और जदीदी खोज में मिलेंगे इसी के अनासिर। बदलेगा ज़रूर तुम्हारा मंतक़ जब रह जाओगे इसी का बनकर।

 The elements of this wisdom will be found in every new thought and modern discovery. Your logic will surely transform once you become completely immersed in it.

Raze Ulfat

राज़-ए-उल्फ़त (The Secret of Love)

​हमने कुछ भी न रखा था तवक्क़ो तुमसे

तुमने यूँ ही क़ता किया है ताल्लुक़ हमसे।

​I expected nothing at all from you,

Yet you severed your connection with me just like that.

​हम तो मजबूर थे जो हुई थी मोहब्बत तुमसे

तेरी मजबूरी क्या थी जो किया है किनारा हमसे।

​I was helpless, bound by the love I felt for you,

What was your compulsion that made you distance yourself from me?

​वो तेरा बाँकपन और बेबाक गुफ़्तगू का अंदाज़

और मेरा बेचैन निगाहों से तुम्हें देखने का राज़।

​That charm of yours and your bold way of speaking,

And the secret of me watching you with restless eyes.

​वो तेरा बेसाख़्ता अल्हड़पन जिस का कोई न था जबाज़

और मेरा तुम्हें याद करने से न आना बाज़।

​That spontaneous innocence of yours, which needed no justification,

And my inability to refrain from remembering you.

​तेरी दिलकश वो अदाएँ और तेरे दिलफ़रोज़ आदत

मेरे टूटे हुए ख़्वाब और वो बिखरे हुए जज़्बात।

​Those captivating ways of yours and your heart-pleasing habits,

My broken dreams and those scattered emotions.

​हमको पहले से मालूम था तेरी बेरुख़ी का सबब

इसलिए तेरी बेवफ़ाई का हमने रखा था अदब।

​I already knew the reason behind your indifference,

Which is why I treated even your unfaithfulness with respect.

​मोहब्बत जब हद से गुज़रती है तो कोई तवक्क़ो नहीं रहती

क्योंकि बेलोस शफ़क़त वो शै है जिसमें ख़ुदी नहीं होती।

​When love crosses all limits, no expectations remain,

Because selfless affection is something that holds no ego.

​तुमको मैं बेवफ़ा कैसे कह सकता हूँ, बता

तुम्हें वफ़ा चीज़ क्या है यह भी नहीं है पता।

​Tell me, how can I call you unfaithful?

When you do not even know what faithfulness truly means.

​इतनी मासूमियत से तुम्हें क़ुदरत ने नवाज़ा है

तुम्हें शायद मालूम ही नहीं है कि उल्फ़त क्या है।

​Nature has blessed you with such innocence,

Perhaps you do not even realize what love truly is.

Raze Ikhlakhiat

राज़-ए-इख़लाक़ियात

बहबूदियों में न रहो तुम इतना भी बहुत मग़रूर।

बर्बादियाँ भी पीछा करती हुई आती हैं फिर ज़रूर।

​Do not be so terribly proud in times of prosperity.

Ruination, too, inevitably comes chasing after.

चाहिए कितनी भी उड़ान भरने की हिम्मत तुम में हो मगर।

तुम ज़मीन से जुड़े हो और अपने क़दम भी रखना 

No matter how much courage you have to soar high,

You are rooted to the earth, so keep your feet firmly on the 

पेश आओ सबों से तुम बड़ी ख़ुश-अस्लूबी से।

दर्द-ए-दिल रखो सम्भाले तबीयत में बहुत 

Treat everyone with immense grace and politeness.

Nurture empathy in your heart with deep elegance.

​ख़ुद पहल करो मिलने की सब से, छोड़ के यह सारा ग़रूर।

वरना रह जाओगे अकेले ही, चाहे कितने 

Take the initiative to greet everyone yourself, casting aside all pride.

Otherwise, you will be left entirely alone, no matter how famous you a

कुछ हासिल नहीं होता करने से दलीलों पर तक़रार।

जीत जाते हो तक़रार और खो देते हो अपने 

Nothing is gained by arguing endlessly over points of debate.

You win the argument, but lose your close beloved friends.

माल-ओ-ज़र कितना भी समेटो, आख़िर यह दुनिया फ़ानी है।

एक सांस रुक जाएगी बंदे की तो यह सब 

No matter how much wealth and riches you gather, this world is ultimately mortal.

Once a person's breath stops, all of it becomes completely 

उतना ही कमाओ ईमान से ज़िंदगी में जितना हो दरकार।

और कुछ ज़्यादा कमाओगे तो वो सब कर दो खैरात ।

Earn with honesty in life only as much as is genuinely needed.

And if you earn anything extra, give all of it to needy 

ख़ाक से ही बने हो और होना भी तुम्हें है आख़िर पुर-ख़ाक।

ख़त्म होंगे तेरे सब फ़साने और रह जाएँगे बस तेरे इखलाक ।

You are made of dust, and in the end, you must return to dust.

All your stories will come to an end, and only your character and morals will remain.

​अहले अहबाब

जब से आसूदगी बढ़ने लगी है, रिश्ते नाते बिगड़ने लगे हैं।

और मेरे सारे दोस्त, अहले अहबाब सब मुझसे बिछड़ने लगे हैं।

​Ever since comfort and prosperity started growing, relationships have begun to sour.

And all my friends, my loved ones, have all started drifting away from me.

रुस्वा हुए हैं रिश्ते और दोस्त भी रंग बदल रहे हैं।

कुछ भी हुआ न हासिल, बस सब दूर हो गए हैं।

Relationships have been disgraced, and friends too are changing their true colors.

Nothing was gained; everyone has simply grown distant.

यह सब तरक्की और कामयाबी के ही ज़मनी असरात हैं,

और आपसी होड़ की वजह के ही यह करामात हैं।

​These are all side effects of progress and success,

And these outcomes are the direct result of mutual rivalry.

कह दो इन रंजिशों से कहीं दूर जा के बरसे।

हम सब अपने आपस में मिलने को कभी न तरसे।

Tell these animosities to go pour down somewhere far away,

So that we never have to long just to meet one another.

हमने हासिल किया बहुत कुछ, पर सुकून हुआ न हासिल।

दिल रेख़्ता हो चुका है, और पता नहीं है कैसे हो यह बासिल।

We achieved a great deal, yet peace of mind eluded us.

The heart has turned to dust, and I do not know how it can be restored.

ज़आती मसलों में हुए हैं इस क़दर मुलविस और मसरूफ़ हम।

मिलने की फ़ुरसत किसी को नहीं और पता नहीं कब टूट जाए यह दम।

​We have become so involved and consumed in personal affairs,

No one has time to meet, and who knows when this life will come to an end.

सिर्फ़ लोगों के रुतबे और ओहदे से ही, बना लेते हैं पहचान हम।

रखते नहीं कभी कोई लिहाज़, अपने दोस्ती या आशनाई का हम।

​We define people’s identities solely by their status and rank.

We no longer hold any regard for our friendships or acquaintances.

अपनों की नुक़्ता-चीनी और मुनाफ़िक़त से बना है हमारा किरदार।

बन सके न हम कभी किसी के हमदर्द या ग़मख़्वार।

​Our character has been shaped by criticizing our own and by hypocrisy.

We could never become anyone’s compassionate companion or sharer of grief.

क़ाफ़िले रुक गए हैं और फ़ासले बढ़ चुके हैं, रमेश।

रास्ते बदल गए हैं मंज़िलों का पता नहीं है।

​The caravans have halted, and distances have grown, Ramesh.

The paths have changed, and the destinations remain unknown.

Raze kamyabi

​राज़-ए-कामयाबी

​क़ामयाबी देखती नहीं है सिर्फ़ आपकी सलाहियत और आपके हुनर।

यह आपके बेहतर मौक़े खोजने के अज़्म पर भी है मुनहसिर।

​Success doesn't look only at your talent and your skill.

It also depends on your determination to search for better opportunities.

​बेहतर मौक़े जिंदगी में हर वक़्त मयस्सर नहीं हो पाते हैं।

यह वो शय है जो मिलते नहीं हैं बल्कि पैदा किए जाते हैं।

​Better opportunities are not available in life all the time.

These are things that are not simply found, but are created.

​आपकी कामयाबियाँ और नाकामयाबियाँ आपकी सोच से ही हैं पुरअसर।

अब आपकी कौन सी सोच कितनी मज़बूत है वही आपको है मयस्सर।

​Your successes and failures are deeply influenced by your mindset.

Which of your thoughts is strong enough determines what becomes available to you.

​बस तुम भरोसा रखो अपने आमाल और अपनी लियाक़त पर।

ताकि क़ुदरत तुम्हें तौफ़ीक़ बख़्शे और रहे आपकी हिमायत पर।

​Just keep faith in your actions and your capability.

So that Nature grants you divine ability and stands in your support.

​अपने को खुद तरसी का शिकार न होने देना थोड़ी सी रियायत के लिए।

खुद एतमादी का जज़्बा पैदा करना ज़रूरी है अपनी नवीयत के लिए।

​Do not let yourself fall victim to self-pity for the sake of small concessions.

Cultivating the spirit of self-confidence is essential for your true nature.

​क़ामयाबी किसी को मिलती ख़ैरात में हो, बिल्कुल भी नहीं।

तुम पहला क़दम तो बढ़ाओ और कोशिश करो तो सही।

​Success is never handed out to anyone as charity, not at all.

At least take the first step and give it an honest try.

​किसी को अपने पे हावी न होने देना और किसी से मुतास्सिर न होना तब तक,

खुद अहसासी के ज़रिए से ही बना लेना ज़रूरी है अपना मंतक़।

​Do not let anyone overpower you, nor be influenced by anyone until

you establish your own logic through self-awareness.

​क़ुदरत ने तुम्हें इतनी क़ुवत से नवाज़ा है, रमेश

तुम अपनी क़िस्मत को भी अपने आमाल से बदल सकते हो।

​shawoore khud ehsasi 

रोशन ख़याली से वाबस्ता होना चाहिए हर बंदा और हर बशर।

खुद अहसासी का शऊर पैदा करना चाहिए अपने दिल-ओ-जाँ के अंदर।

​Every person and every human being should be connected with enlightened thinking. One should awaken the consciousness of self-awareness deep within their heart and soul.

​उफ़ुक़ पर होता है जब-जब अयाँ वो नूरे-अनवर।

आता है मुझको ये इल्हाम, शायद हो वो ज़हूरे-महेश्वर।

​Whenever that radiant, divine light becomes manifest on the horizon, I receive this spiritual inspiration that perhaps it is the manifestation of the Supreme God (Maheshwar).

​ब्रह्मा से लेकर एक घास के तिनके तक बसता है उसके जलवे का ही नूर।

पहचानता है उसको वही जो जीवन्मुक्त हो और हो इस ग़मे-दुनिया से दूर।

​From Brahma to a single blade of grass, the light of His glory resides in everything. Only he who is liberated in life and detached from the sorrows of this world recognizes Him.

​उसको देख सकते हो तुम हर बशर और हर शय में ज़रूर।

पर छोड़ना होगा तुम्हें हर हाल में अपना ये सारा ग़रूर।

​You can certainly see Him in every human being and every single thing, but you must completely give up all your pride under any circumstance.

​मैं बुतपरस्त तो नहीं मगर लगता है हर वक़्त मुझपर यही इल्ज़ाम।

मुझे हर शय में आता है नज़र वही, चाहे बुत हो या इंसान।

​I am not an idol worshipper, yet this accusation is placed upon me all the time. I behold only Him in everything, whether it is an idol or a human being.

​कैसे उस नूर से होगा मेरा मिलन, ये रहती है मेरी जुस्तजू।

फिर उसी का जलवा और शऊरे-अक्स आता है नज़र मुझे चारसू।

​How will I unite with that divine Light?—this remains my constant quest. Then I perceive His splendour and the conscious reflection of His image all around me.

हर जगह हर सिम्त और हर तरफ़ उसका ही जलवा है अयाँ।

हज़ारों आफ़ताब और माहताब नहीं कर सकते उसके नूर को बयाँ।

​Everywhere, in every direction, and on every side, His glory alone is evident. Thousands of suns and moons together cannot adequately describe His Light.
